We offer a modern version of the kersetka – a stylish jacket made of quilted silk. The front of the jacket has a loose cut, the back is fitted with pleats.
The *kersetka* is a traditional Ukrainian women’s outerwear that is distinguished by its elegant “waist” tailoring, which is typical for the central and eastern regions of Ukraine. The front of this jacket has a loose cut, and the back is fitted, decorated with pleats that add a special charm. Kersets could be both everyday and festive, depending on the material chosen. Regardless of their purpose, they all had the same cut, but were made of different fabrics, such as wool, brocade, silk, cotton, or velvet
